Nothing says Summer like fairs and festivals all over the Pocono Mountains. From food vendors, live entertainment, farmer’s markets, dancing, local artists and more, we know how to have the best festivals here. Here’s a list of fairs and festivals until the end of September.
Aububon Wildlife Art & Craft Festival
Date: July 16th – 17th , 10 am – 5 pm
Known regionally as the finest art and craft show in the Poconos, this festival combines entertaining and education live wildlife shows and close to 100 artists and artisans. Live ice sculpting and activities for the kids will also be available! This festival is located in Lake Wallenpaupack High School.
The Pocono State Craft Festival
Date: August 20th – 21st, Daily 10 am – 5 pm
Go to Quiet Valley’s farm to see some distinctive crafts on display! Enjoy jewelry, woodworking, clothing, metal work, stained glass, basketry, pottery, leather, furniture and more. Also enjoy craft demonstrations and Dixieland and Bluegrass music, along with festival food. Free parking and no pets allowed. Visit here
12th Annual Festival of Wood
Date: August 6th – 7th, 10 am – 5 pm
Enjoy homemade crafts, music, arts programs, children’s activities, education exhibits, and much more. Held rain or shine. Visit here
Annual Honesdale Roots & Rhythm Music & Art Festival
Date: June 18th
Spend the morning and early afternoon listening to live bands downtown at the 11th annual Roots & Rhythm festival! Move to Central Park for a free concert featuring nationally known acts, as well as other artisans and food vendors. Visit here
Milford Music Festival
Date: June 24th – 26th
The Milford Music Festival has been a borough-wide, sidewalk event with music, shopping, dining and fun all over the town. More than twenty individual businesses participate, giving music lovers a reason to experience Milford from one end of the town to the other. Visit here
Pocono Mountain Bluegrass Festival
Date: June 24th – 26th, Daily, 9 am
Enjoy your favorite bands, have great food and visit with friends at the Bluegrass Festival! There’s plenty of plat and level camping at the event, which is in Newfoundland at the GDS Fairgrounds. Showers and bathrooms are also on site.
Buck Hill Skytop Music Festival
Date: July 29th – August 7th
Attend this festival to enjoy world class artist concerts in opera, chamber, jazz, cabaret, Broadway, education and chorale. Concerts will include the National Chorale singing Carmina Burana, Tony award nominee Tony Yazbeck, The Hot Sardines and fifteen piece Broadway orchestra. Meet and greets will also be available. COTA Jazz and Art Festival
Date: September 9th – 11th
The 29th Annual Delaware Water Gap celebration of the Arts, packs several sets of ensemble jazz performances, plus theater and arts, into a three-day festival in the Delaware Water Gap.
Pennsylvania Blues Festival
Date: September 16th – 18th
Join Split Rock Resort as they celebrate 25 Consecutive Years of Blues In The Pocono Mountains. This award winning festival showcases 17 National Acts throughout the weekend, with plenty of food and beverage, free parking and dozens of artisans displaying their wares. Throughout the weekend music fans that travel from all over to the Pennsylvania Blues Festival can expect contemporary and traditional blues, soul, gospel and New Orleans themed music.

Great Tastes of Pennsylvania Wine and Food Festival
Date: June 25th – 26th, Noon – 8 pm
Split Rock Resort is hosting its 26th Annual Great Tastes of Pennsylvania Wine and Food Festival. Uncork summer with this two day event featuring food and craft vendors, educational seminars, live musical entertainment and over 30 wineries to sample from. This year there will also be new entertainment performers, a beer tent and a kids zone. Each ticket includes admission and a complimentary wine glass for tasting. Visit here
Pocono Wurst Festival
Date: July 16th – 17th, 11 am – 5 pm
With both Polish and German themes, the event will feature three stages of music, traditional costumed dance performances, pig and hot dog races, ethnic craft vendors, new Bier Stein Olympics, fun games for adults and plenty of wursts, wieners, kielbasa, pierogies and cold brews. Children’s entertainment will include the Puppen Meister marionette show, Brat Man living statue, rubber duck races, bavarian juggling shows and face painting. Sweet Corn & BBQ Festival
Date: August 13th – 14th, 11 am – 5 pm
This event will feature non-stop live entertainment with a Country and Western theme; including local show bands the Brian Dean Moore Band and the Cramer Brothers Band. There’s country line dancing demonstrations and instruction, cowboy juggling and magic shows, corn eating, corn trivia contests and tons of food vendors and cold brews.
Pocono Garlic Festival
Date: September 3rd – 4th, 10 am – 6 pm
Over 60 food and craft vendors will be offering everything from garlic vinegar and garlic ice cream to garlic-themed pottery and paintings. A showcase of local musical talent on two stages; including the Pocono Bluegrass and Folk Society stage, educational demonstrations, 5th Annual Garlic Eating Contest and plenty of children’s activities make this a great family event! Beer Fest at Blue Mountain
Date: August 27th, Noon – 4 pm

Date: September 3rd, 11 am – 6 pm
Bring the family and enjoy the Annual Labor Day festival, in Stroudsburg, PA! Multiple vendors will line the sidewalks on Main Street from 5th to 9th Streets, featuring a food court in the courthouse square, complimenting dozens of eclectic shops and restaurants. There will be live music at multiple stages throughout the day, and lots of activities for the whole family to enjoy! Visit here
Mount Pocono HarvestFest
Date: September 24th, 9 am – 6 pm

Annual Wally Lake Fest
Date: August 26th – 28th
This is a fun-packed, three day event. The sandy shores and surrounding area come alive with music, an open fair market, free sailboat rides, tours of the dam, kayak demos, art displays, bike rides, downtown shopping, a boat parade, an ice cream social, and much more. With so many activities planned, the entire Lake Region and downtown Hawley is the place to be for people of all ages either on the water or on dry land.
154th Annual Wayne County Fair
Date: August 5th – 13th, 9 am – 11 pm
Enjoy big-name country music concerts, painted pony bronc and bull riding, Prevo the Dinosaur wandering the midway and more. Don’t miss the rides, games, car thrill shows, harness racing, tractor, truck and horse pulls, demolition derby, live entertainment, and fireworks. Carbon County Fair
Date: August 8th – 13th
Mon-Fri: -3 pm – 11 pm, Sat: noon – 11 pm
Family oriented fair with agricultural displays, great food, rides, and musical entertainment. There is an additional charge for all persons 6 years and older for all arena events, including garden tractor pull, demolition derbies, etc. Ride specials daily. Musical entertainment is included with entry fee. Parking is free. There is also a free spectacular fireworks display on opening night of the fair at 10pm. Pets not allowed. Visit here
99th Annual Greene-Dreher-Sterling Fair
Date: August 26th – September 4th
Community agricultural fair with midway, music, entertainment, food, fun, and much more. Parking is free. Price at the gate includes admission to exhibits, all musical shows, most arena events, and all the rides. Extra charges may apply for some special events. Visit here
The West End Fair
Date: August 21st – August 27th
$5 / Ages 11 and older
A country fair with animals, homemade and homegrown items on display. Rides are an exciting part of the midway, but food is the best feature with many mouthwatering items.
